Becoming Human Centered

This program aims to provide non-profits and public institution organizations with tools and strategies to create a work environment where all members can thrive and feel a sense of belonging. This is achieved by celebrating differences, sharing power, and prioritizing the well-being, needs, and experiences of employees. The program will also focus on the importance of fostering a culture of rest, where the internal work environment is not aligned with capitalist, white supremacist, patriarchal norms that center productivity over humanity. In a culture of outcomes, productivity, and hard work, we often forget that success can be achieved with fairness, ease, and creativity too. Our capitalist economic framework values efficiency, seeks profit, productivity, private ownership, and growth at all costs. It assumes a scarcity of resources and does not account well for factors outside the marketplace that influence economic activity, like housing, the environment, caregiving, health, wellness, justice and peace, etc.
